Marie Pandolfo
Marie has a proven track record in securing grant funding in the UK and in the EU, and in assisting public, private and not-for-profit collaborations. Marie is an accredited Better Business Case Practitioner, trained to Central Government appraisal and evaluation standards.
Marie holds a Masters degree in Ecology and Urban Planning and the title of Master Engineer from the University of Franche-Comte (France). She started her career within a federation of 141 French local authorities, securing and managing €4.1m of public funding. One of her successes included the creation of a regional cluster in eco-constructions, which was identified as a case study by the French National Assembly in 2010.
Born to a French and Italian family who lived abroad, Marie developed a taste for travelling. She moved to England in 2011 to coordinate a €4m EU funded project. In 2014, she supported the European and Structural Investment Funds (ESIF) strategy of Staffordshire University and specific enterprise & innovation projects.
She was recruited in 2015 at the Borough of Poole Council to assist local stakeholders and the Council’s Units in accessing funding. She led the Council’s strategy towards grant funding and contributed to increase income from <£1m to £14m.
